A Mini-Retreat to Welcome December
Hello loves,
We are in a big collective transition right now.
Tonight is a full moon eclipse in Gemini (kicking off eclipse season). In the US, we are winding down an unusual Thanksgiving week and witnessing the formal transition of power for our next president, Joe Biden. And of course, we are about to welcome in the LAST month of 2020 (hallelujah!).
So, I recorded a little treat for you.
This 30-minute audio retreat offers gentle guidance for our transition into December.
I talk about the gifts of this full moon, guide you through a tension-releasing meditation, and invite you to journal about how to bring ease into your holiday season and final month of the year.
Soon I will be inviting you to a workshop for reviewing and releasing the energy of this past year. 2020 has a LOT that we need to integrate, grieve, and even celebrate.
For now, tonight's full moon eclipse gently starts that completion process…and asks us to have a little fun, for cryin’ out loud!
As we welcome in December, I invite you to:
Hold space for the both/and duality of being human (this is a hard time AND I can enjoy this sunset)
Start a month of gentle reflection and completion for the past year
Invite joy and celebration back into your life, even in the smallest of moments
Release your inner burdens and your tight grip on the future
Allow the eclipse’s tide to release and carry away what you don’t want to bring into 2021
Tend to your inner child—whether it needs rest, play, sensuality, or nourishment
Journaling and reflection prompts:
How can I make my life easier in December? What burdens can I release or get support with?
How can I give myself extra space and softness this month?
What type of joy and play is my inner child craving this month? What’s my plan for adding this in?
How will you support yourself this month? Listen to the recording below and then leave a comment below!
xoxo,
Quinn Corte
We honor and respect the roots of mindfulness meditation, which have origins in both Indian and Tibetan Buddhism, as well as Japanese Zen meditation. We acknowledge the indigenous people of those lands, and offer gratitude to the long lineage of the ancient wisdom keepers that contributed to our practice today.
The Retreat Space is dedicated to providing free healing and learning opportunities, like this one. Are you able to make a contribution to keep us going? Every penny helps!
