Hello colleagues!
I recently decided to host a roundtable to share strategies for addressing burnout in the museum field. The response was very positive, but people were too overwhelmed to join or too hesitant to speak about burnout in a group of colleagues.
I’ve decided to cancel the event. It was an experiment and (like all great experiments), I’ve learned so much just from trying. I encourage all of us in the museum field to speak up about how we’re feeling and what we need. The only way forward is to support and uplift each another.
If you’re feeling overloaded and would welcome practical tips and community support right now, I invite you to sign up for my popular monthly Care Package emails. This is the way to stay in touch with me and my work.
Onward—with hope,
Quinn
