Author’s note:
As I grow, heal, and learn, The Retreat Space evolves with me. Please refer to our About page, which is updated regularly to reflect our constantly evolving mission and values.

The Retreat Space is 6 months old!

Thank you all for your feedback and participation in our first season. It was deeply experimental and so much fun. I've learned so much, and have gained greater clarity around how I can serve you during this challenging time.

I’ve been busy reflecting on what I’ve learned and planning our next phase.

Celebrating our Amazing First Season!

Thank you SO much to our Season 1 collaborators, who donated their wisdom for free to get us started! They are an amazing group. Please give them some love by following and working with them. There is a wealth of wisdom in our first season of offerings--I'm delighted to keep it all available for free in our library. Dive in!

Moving Forward

As I move forward with The Retreat Space, my main intention is to allow this space to evolve.

Starting in October, we are going to explore working in a seasonal format. Each season will last a few weeks, offering events and content centered on a theme. Between seasons, we will take a few weeks off from events to recover and plan the next season. I’m excited to announce Season 2 very soon...stay tuned!

For now, here is my overall vision for The Retreat Space.

Our Mission

The Retreat Space is an accessible and inclusive community where we heal, grow, explore, and connect with ourselves, each other, and the earth.

Our Values

DECOLONIZING WELLNESS
Our offerings are FREE and open to everyone, and we honor the lineages of our teachings. We believe that access to healing is a basic human right, not a privilege of the elite few.

FOR REAL PEOPLE IN THE REAL WORLD
Our community of healers point you back to your inner wisdom. We are trauma-informed, actively anti-racist, and radically compassionate. You won’t find any guru worship or love + light bypassing here.

A BRAVE SPACE
With humor and a light touch, we provide a brave space to go deeper and get vulnerable while trying a range of modalities, perspectives, and experiences from the comfort of your home.

COLLECTIVE CARE + EMPOWERMENT
We are a platform of sacred exchange between healers and participants, radically uplifting and supporting one another as we heal, share our gifts, and step into our power.

COME AS YOU ARE
It’s OK to not be OK. Your full self is welcome here. Especially when you are a (beautiful) mess.

Sustaining our Work

Many of you have generously offered to give back, and I'm delighted that we are now accepting donations. Donations will allow us to cover our operating expenses and continue offering free events.

Moving forward, we will pay all collaborators for their time and gifts. Facilitators and healers who are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) are typically underrepresented and undervalued in wellness spaces and will receive extra reparative compensation from our community.

In line with our mission to decolonize wellness, we will donate 5% of all donations to support healing in underserved communities (a different one each season).

I’m so grateful for your support and feedback in this soul-guided endeavor. Together we are forging a new type of wellness space.

With deep appreciation,
Quinn Corte

P.S. I recently shared an offering called The Wildfire Within: A Ritual to Ignite Change. It’s a ritual for giving and receiving support for our ailing world. We ground, flow, breathe, and burn with the four elements. I also offer a list of concrete ways you can offer support for the West coast wildfires, climate and social injustice, and COVID-related suffering.

P.P.S. Healing is political, and the stakes have never been higher. Have you registered to vote? It takes 2 minutes! This website walks you through registration, voting, and volunteering + donation opportunities.
